⭐ 24 local parks win the prestigious Green Flag award
As we all knew our borough boasts some of the best parks and green spaces in the country. Well now we can officially put a title to that as 24 parks in the area were given the Green Flag award, where only 2000 awards have been given out globally!
Some noteworthy winners of this were:
Cambridge Gardens
Kew Green
Hampton Common

Richmond Park
Bushy Park
In order to win this award each space had to meet 27 criteria, such as cleanliness, biodiversity, safety and heritage.
So if you’re feeling stuck for some weekend plans or need summer holiday entertainment, tick off some of the green spaces from the list to keep you busy.
