🏏 Hampton Wick Cricket Club plans new pavilion following arson
On September 7th last year, Hampton Wick cricket club in Bushy Park, suffered a tragic fire, leaving them without changing rooms, showers, toilets and the loss of their historic building.
However, in an exciting development, plans have been submitted to Richmond Council for a new more modern clubhouse to be built, with improved facilities for all to enjoy.
After leaving a hole in the community, we like many others are excited to see this new development come together. Take a look at the exciting designs below!

🧽 Car looking like it needs a good clean?
Well Tyrese and Henry are your go to men for the job!
Local resident Lisa P had the pleasure of these 2 boys knocking on her door asking to wash her car. Lisa left a gleaming review on nextdoor saying ‘They did a brilliant job!!’ so if they knock on your door to clean your car, give them a shot!

Just stop oil activists arrested at Heathrow
On Wednesday 24th July, 9 activists from the controversial environmentalist group Just Stop Oil were arrested.
Setting themselves up at 2 locations on the perimeter of Heathrow airport, the activists planned to cause disruption on the runway, working alongside groups from Norway, Germany, Finland, Spain and Switzerland

Keep your eyes peeled as new French Bistro, Mignonette, is opening in a months time in Richmond!
Founder and Chef John McClements (who previously ran Ma Cuisine) will be serving up high quality and affordable meals in an elevated setting. There will also be a private room downstairs for that exclusive experience.
With prices coming in at a very reasonable £17 - £26 per main, we can’t wait for it’s grand opening!
Located in the former premises of restaurant 109 on Kew Road.

Ham Accident
An accident occurred on Tuesday 23rd at Ham towards Richmond Bridge, where multiple ambulances and police cars were called to the scene. Due to privacy the details have been kept minimal, however a stretcher was spotted and a family of foxes were unfortunate casualties in the accident.
We hope that anyone involved gets a full, healthy recovery and has all the best wishes from the Richmond Scoop team.
