Twickenham Stadium to be renamed?! 🏟️
Ready for the new season ⚽
Now here’s the scoop!

🖌️ Our new local masterpiece
Banksy has struck again, this time in Kew!
The enigmatic street artist unveiled a new piece featuring a goat balanced on a ledge, with rocks tumbling below. The artwork, located near Kew Bridge, has sparked widespread interest and speculation about its meaning. While Banksy's identity remains a mystery, his latest creation has undoubtedly added another layer of intrigue to our borough.

New name to our local stadium
From September this year, Twickenham Stadium which has held it’s name for 100 years will be renamed to the Allianz Stadium following a landmark sponsorship agreement.
Allianz (a German insurance company) now has a portfolio of 8 stadiums - most notably Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena. Although many of us will refer to it still as Twickenham Stadium, if you hear the name flying about you know what it means!

With many of us counting down the days, the new football season is just round the corner!
For all the local fans, prepare to get behind Hampton & Richmond FC this season as they debut their new coach, Alan Julian! With an impressive pre season start seeing the Beavers win 1 - 0 recently, we can all look forward to what the upcoming season brings!
As for our Bees, their first game takes place Sunday 18th vs Crystal Palace with their last pre-season friendly tonight against German giants Wolfsburg. We wish both teams the best of luck in the upcoming season.
